Since 2011, Walt Frasier and his team has hosted kids and teens for a week of Improv and Stand-Up Comedy classes, daily mock performances and weekly showcases. Since 2018, Camp has run 8-10 weeks/summer as well as holiday/vacation camps.

Summer 2020 continued online, with new students from around the world. 2021 saw a return to the Broadway Comedy Club and an incredible fun nine weeks which now includes sketch comedy and other content creation.

Typical Week

  • Monday-Thursday
  • 9am early drop off
  • 9:30 Daily Warm ups – bonding games, movement and more preparing the team and individual for awesomeness
  • 10am Morning Comedy Class – Usually Improv in focus
  • 12pm Lunch (now Bring your own for post pandemic safety concerns)
  • 1pm Afternoon Comedy Class – usually Stand-Up, and then Improv
  • 3pm Fun hour, student leaders (aka TEENTERNS) run bonding games such as Mafia, Spyfall etc
  • 4pm pick up deadline
  • Friday
  • 9am-12pm warm ups and dress rehearsal
  • 1pm showcase, invite friends and family so our young comics have an amazing audience! (We usually video tape and post unlisted to share privately)
  • 3pm dismissal

2021 Holiday Camp

  • December 27-30, 2021
  • 9am -11:30 Morning Improv Comedy
  • 11:30-1pm Lunch and Stand Up Open Mic
  • 1pm-2:45 Afternoon Improv Comedy
  • 3pm Daily self dismiss, early pick ups or watch Professional Comedy Show, we invite families to join for free (one drink minimum for non camper)
