WHAT: HAPPY HOUR IMPROV COMEDY JAM COME PLAY WITH US!!!
Join us Mondays at 5:30 for 2-hours of Improv Comedy. We create a fun safe place to play and create original stories and scenes under the direction of professional Improv players from the cast of EIGHT IS NEVER ENOUGH (AKA LMAO Off Broadway). Geared towards young (and young at heart) professionals from all walks of life to play, network and develop valuable life skills for work and personal life.

Every session starts with a series of warm-ups that develop strong team and individual performance skills plus creativity, community and leadership skill sets (critical thinking, public speaking, self-confidence, listening, focus etc). Then we play traditional performance games. We believe in a performance geared education. These are both classes and rehearsal for a performance at the end of 8 classes. This adds just enough pressure and a goal to succeed. Psychological safety without performance drive leads to a place where we never push out our comfort zone.

Open to adults 21yo and older. (Must be 21 due to inclusion of alcohol)

We have been slowly building this program for years, trying different times and different class styles. I think we finally hit our stride, at least the roster of new and return students would reflect that notion.

Other programs are usually Teen friendly (usually rated PG-13, similar to edgy Broadway shows like Book of Mormon, Avenue Q etc). Stand-Up Comedy shows are generally Rated R and designed for adult audiences.
