FALL COMEDY CLASSES – PUBLIC SCHEDULE

Improv 101 Sundays 4-6pm

Whether trying Improv for the first time or looking for a refresher for your skills, this class will be a ton of fun as you dive in to warm-up, technique and classic performance games. Break down those walls of ego and insecurity. Develop a quick wit. Unlock your full potential. 8 week program includes two performances at the Broadway Comedy Club. We believe performance experience to be an important part of your development.

COMEDY 4 TEENS Saturdays 10am

For eight weeks teens 13-17 play warm-up, technique and performance games learning both performance, improv and valuable life skills (creativity, community, leadership). The last 30-45 minutes of each class is focused on developing original comedy material. Students share stories of their own experiences and observations, which – under the direction of our teaching artists – become stand-up comedy routines. The class has a ninth week built in as make-up (bonus if you don’t miss any classes) and a 10th week as the performance showcase. By combining the Improv & Stand-Up students get a well rounded creative arts experience of performing, writing and more.
