Comedy 4 Kids/Teens

Improv Comedy helps students discover their best selves building self confidence, creative writing, critical thinking and public speaking. Students Play a series of warm-up, technique buildimg and performance  games, many akin to those seen on WHOSE LINE IS IT ANYWAY. While having a ton of fun students are learning focus, listening team and leadwrshup skills. The classes and workshops integrate perfectly with cultural arts, language arts and character building/guidance programming. We use these same games to teach corporate groups team, managemwnt, sales and service skills. Our piblic classes include a stand-up comedy component which allows students to further develop creative writing and presentation skills. Full sessions prepare students for a performance session.

In addition to public programming in Times Square, we also host student field trips for shows and classes. You can also bring this program to your school, camp or community center. Great for in school assemblies, PTA nights, teen nights, Blue & Gold dinners, libraries, and more…

$250 includes 8-week session, performamce showcases plus bomus classe. Drop in anytime (except dress rehearsal and showcase weeks for just $40,)

WINTER CLASSES 2019
Comedy 4 Kids (8-12yos) will continue Saturdays at noon.  Comedy 4 Teens will jave three sections. Saturday 10am, Sunday 12:15pm, Tuesday 4:15, starting January 5, 6, 8. SHOWCASEs March 9. 10, 12. Winter class has 2 weeks built in to accommodate our usual 8-week program for Multiple 3-day weekends, winter break and weather issues.

SPRING CLASSES 2019
March 16, 23, 30, April 6, 13, May, 4, 11 SHOWCASE May 18. Spring classes have a strict 8 week schedule to get the showcase in before Memorial Day. However we will ad FOUR weeks of bonus classes open to all students from 2018/2019 sessions.

SUMMER CAMP STARTS JULY 1

We will be running EIGHT weeks of summer camp due to popular demand. Each week, 9:30-3:30 Monday thru Friday includes classes in Improv and Stand -Up Comedy, watch a professional show and perform original material at the weekly showcase. Tuition includes lunch amd snacks.

$500/week, $2600 for 8 weeks
