Our seventh year is going to be our biggest summer yet, with EIGHT weeks of comedy camp starting July 1. We are so super psyched,  especially since our student, Carolyn won this year’s young comedian competition with Kenan Thompson, Judah, one of last year’s winners was a headliner this month. We cannot wait to start the summer festivities.

Our comedy classes and camps for kids & teens combine both Improv and Stand-Up comedy. Every day includes classes in performance technique and comedy writing. Tuition includes daily lunch and snacks.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF SUMMER COMEDY CAMP

Monday – Thursday starts at 9:30am, although we have an adult on premise as early as 8:45am.

Warming up the individual skill sets and team dynamic. playing a series of games that teach Improv technique, projection, listening, focus and more.

Each day we learn a new Improv game.

Followed by open play session where games learned in previous classes and camps are reviewed.

Then there is the daily open mic, where campers take stories of personal experience and observation which they craft into original comedy routines.

Friday is focused on performing a show. The morning is a dress rehearsal  – one last chance for students to practice routines and improv games.

After a lunch break, we invite friends and family to join us for a show.

Judah, in video above, won 2nd place last year with Kenan and has been travelling around the country and hanging backstage at SNL. Cool stuff!
