What an unforgettable opening night! After 23 years of bringing improv to Times Square, we’ve just launched our most ambitious venture yet: 7pm Tonight & Every Night, a new series of live improv comedy shows. Tonight truly felt like we were back on top, having fun, making people laugh, and feeling an incredible wave of support that I haven’t experienced in at least a year.
Our Gratitude
Thank you to PJ Landers and the entire team at the Comedy Village. From the staff to fellow comics, everyone made my crew and me feel right at home. Finding a perfect fit on day one in the theater or comedy world is a rare gem, and tonight, it just felt right.
A massive shout-out to our amazing audience. We had a wonderful mix of strangers who now feel like family, many of our dedicated students, a few students who have become colleagues, and even some familiar faces we haven’t seen since 2019. There were moments tonight that brought happy tears to my eyes.
To our incredible crew, our “OG cast,” thank you! Every single person on stage tonight has been with us for 6 to 16 years: Amelia, Sam, Andrea, and of course, Liz. Liz, we might have “lost” you to motherhood and a teaching gig, but thank you to your family for sharing you with us!

And finally, my deepest gratitude goes to my best friend of 32 years, my beautiful wife of 28 years, and my business partner of 23 years, Laurice. This entire journey began with your vision 23 years ago. Many people recognize me as the face of 8 improv, New York Improv Theater, and Improv 4 Kids, but everything I do is possible because Laurice believed it could be 23 years ago. The reality hasn’t always matched the dream, but that’s life. What matters is that together, we’ve been an important part of so many lives.
I am truly a benefactor, both on and off stage, of the love and support from so many. Words can’t fully express my feelings, but please know I love and appreciate you all!
