I try to tell all my students and colleagues, “be someone folks want to work with!” When you constantly over deliver on product and service, you build clients for life.
Our fans and clients are our extended family. We don’t nickle and dime. We still market for new clients, but our calendar is filled with folks coming back time and time again, sometimes for 15-20+ years.
Yesterday we did a show for a Baltimore, Maryland area junior high school. For ten of the last twelve years (I’ll let you guess which two years they did not come) they have brought the theater, music and dance girls uo for a show at our Times Square NYC theater. There was one year the venue mess up and we to cut the show short. On a trip to DC area, I personally stopped by and donated a free workshop at their school.
Every week we have 2-4 schools or corporate clients returning for more fun. Our shows and workshops leave a lasting impression far beyond the joy & laughter. Both our Improv comedy, Murder Mystery and other events are powerful tools to bring your community together and teach valuable life skills.
We have 20 major events in the next 6 weeks that are all returning clients, including a client that just emailed this….
I’m reaching out to see if it might be possible to arrange another improv experience for my Narrative Medicine students at Columbia for this coming workshop?? What you and your team brought to our experience last weekend is the most memorable experience we’ve had yet, and as much as I like to do different things every year, I can’t think of anything more appropriate for now, and the time we’re living in, but to bring people back alive through your work to start off the weekend. I’m a little late in planning things myself (lost a little time due to some family issues), so I’m catching up now and I hope it’s not too late….
