Here are a few extremely fun options for your teams to come together, bonding over laughs while developing invaluable skills in communication, creativity, leadership and more!

Improv Comedy Workshops

Improv Comedy is a ton of fun and a powerful tool to build community and leadership. For some, the very idea of improv can be intimidated, but we quickly take the stage freight out of the equation by creating a fun safe space for all to thrive. Over the course of two hours we simply play. We start with some ice breakers, move into some technique building games and finaly a mini master class in performance games. Simply playing these games develops creativity, critical thinking, self-confidence and communication skills. Improv helps all become presentation and sales ninjas. The fun, the laughter tears down walls and builds strong bonds. When applied properly, YES AND… IMPROV may be the most powerful tool for today’s project managers. Use these workshops to train your leadership team, break the ice with teams at the beginning of a new project, and use to maintain strong bonds through the course of the endeavor.

YES AND…, THE EXPERIENCE

THE YES AND… EXPERIENCE is our one-comic improv comedy show designed for corporate team building lunch/dinner events but has also been a huge hit at parties for friends and families. Don’t tell your team, but YES AND…, THE EXPERIENCE, in many ways, is a team building workshop disguised as a show. Our MC warms up the crowd, and then, akin to a Vegas Mentalist or hypnotist, brings audience volunteers up to play a series of games.

Murder Mystery Team Building

We have full dinner theater style shows for Corporate entertainment, but for team building we recommend our CLUE PARTY or MADCAPPED MYSTERIES. Both feature some or all of your team as characters in a story, led by our top detective, an experienced event MC and improv comic. Generally for events involving 20 or less, everyone is a character. For larger events, even 100+, some of the guests become characters,

CLUE PARTIES

Upon arrival your guests receive a mini character bio, a set of clues and basic HOW TO PLAY instructions. After our detective launches the show, guests mix and mingle to collect clues and details about the other characters. We jokingly call this speed dating for suspects. The clues clearly lead to a very specific single perpetual, BUT beware of red herrings, and our murderer does not want to get caught. They might literally poison the well.

MADCAPPED MYSTERIES – The most original murder mystery show EVER!!!!

This show combines our two core proficiencies: Murder Mystery Shows and Improv Comedy. Our top detective and improv teaching artist leads your team. The first few minutes feels like a live Madlibs Book, as the entire teams helps create the base reality of our story: the victim, and a few basic facts about the crime scene. Imagine being in the opening scene of a Law & Order episode. THEN everyone is in a Knives Out movie, as our detective interogates everyone, simultaneously assigning roles.

“So, you, sir, please stand up. I understand you work side by side with the victim. Tell me about working with (insert name of victim previously established).

One by one all (or many in a larger event) become various characters from the victim’s life, our towns folks that have witnessed some aspect of our story, or even the Mayor, Chief of Police, Town Council members, etc.

ENDING ALL MURDER MYSTERY SHOWS

With all of our shows the final moments involve small teams of deputized detectives collaborating to solve our crime and together complete the answer sheets. Our top detective reads many of these, the wrong ones usually being the most entertaining, building suspense until the final team is awarded prizes for solving the crime and our suspect is hauled off to face the jury. We also award prizes for best costume and actor for Clue Parties.
