Every 2-hour sessions of our classes and camps will primarily focus on playing Improv Comedy Games. We always start with warm up and technique building, ice breakers that develop the core skills of improv, and life: self-esteem, self-confidence, listening, focus, creative and critical thinking, public speaking techniques and more. Then we play games for performances, short form and long form. Then, every 8-weeks session or weeknof camp. We dedicate some time for students to develop their original comedy routines. Usually stand up comedy, but also sketch comedy at times. Our systems turn personal stories of observation and experience intonoriginak comedy routines.

Since 2003, Improv 4 Kids has been hosting k12 student field trips and touring schools, summer camps, community centers and family events nationwide. Our musical comedy shows pair well with PARP, Literacy, SEL Social Emotional Learning, Language Arts, Anti-Bully and more. Our Interactive shows are cultural arts, language arts and character development. We have teachers all over NYC schools and after school programs as well. Ask about our workshops and residencies, as well as professional development programs for teachers and staff!

Many of our students have won competitions in town while a few have even gone on to TV and Film work, BUT pir focus is HAVING FUN, the best way to learn. We teach valuable life lessons. In fact we use the exact same curriculum to train corporate teams, leaders and sales. Improv comedy is the secret weapon in a AI forward future world. Improv helps kids, teens and adults become human skills ninjas.

BONUS SESSIONS: May 23, 30, June 6, 13, 20 FREE for Winter/Spring Participants. Due to numerous 3 day weekends and various holidays, different families take off / travel at different times, so we run straight thru Winter/Spring breaks so we can get our Spring showcase in before memorial day. However, we have these extra days every year to come play.
SUMMER 2026 starts June 22. Every week includes a showcase Friday at 2pm. Monday thru Friday we have someone to greet the campers in by 8:45. Campers bring their own lunches, but sometimes we have pizza. Some days we have professional shows as other camps join us for a field trip. Almost weekly, our campers get to see the professionals perform at least once.
