Long Island Artistic Director, Evan Schultz
Evan is a Long Island native and graduate of Wagner College with a BA in Musical Theatre Performance/ Voice and Speech. He has been seen here At The Argyle Theatre in The Wizard of Oz (Lion/Zeke), Harry Connick, Jr.’s The Happy Elf (Santa/Ensemble), The Musical Adventures of Flat Stanley (Male Swing), James and the Giant Peach (Grasshopper), and would have been seen in Junie B. Jones The Musical (Mrs. Gutzman/Mr. Scary/Daddy/Mr. Woo), but that was unfortunately postponed due to COVID-19. He is the Acting Teacher/Director for the Argyle Academy of the Arts Summer Intensive. He teaches improv and acting at the Argyle during the fall and spring classes. Evan has also stage managed here, and is the Resident Argyle Children’s Theatre Props Designer. Off-Broadway credits include LMAO (Improv Actor), Isabelle and the Pretty-Ugly Spell, Lost Boys Or An Awfully Big Adventure, JAR’D, The Gayest Christmas Pageant Ever, Hollywood-Hollywood!, Booth! (Ensemble), and Dickens Condensed. Regional credits include Shrek (Shrek), Seussical (Horton), Jekyll and Hyde (Ensemble), A Wonderful Life (Swing), Sleeping Beauty (Gryff), Charlie and the Chocolate Factory(Grandpa Joe), Charlotte’s Web (Wilbur), Grand Hotel, and Into the Woods. Touring credits include Improv4Kids (Improv actor), Charlotte’s Web (Wilbur), and A Christmas Carol. TV and Film credits include 30 Rock, Law & Order SVU, Law & Order Criminal Intent, Gossip Girls, Fringe, Cupid, When in Rome, and Professional Organization Of Poggz (POOP The Movie on YouTube). Evan is a producer for theatre and film including A Musical About Star Wars which was Off Broadway. He was also fortunate enough to entertain on cruise ships for five years traveling the world when he was a bit younger. It brought him to every continent and to far away places like Antarctica, The Arctic Circle, Fiji, and even down under in Australia and New Zealand. Walt Frasier
Walt Frasier is the Artistic Director and a founding member of 8 Improv. For the past 30 years, Walt Frasier has performed comedy, theater and music internationally and had costar roles on Blacklist (NBC), Billions (Showtime), Blue Bloods (CBS), Royal Pains (USA), Lilyhammer (Netflix) and Naked Brothers Band (NICK). Frasier has performed sketch comedy bits on PAUSE with Sam Jay (HBO), Late Night with David Letterman (CBS, 9 episodes), and Stankervision (MTV). Additional you may have seen him on countless commercials, industrials and reality TV program. Now the author of numerous books, his Comedy 4 Life series can be found on Amazon (free via Kindle Unlimited).
Laurice Fattal
Laurice Fattal is the executive producer and a founding member of 8 Improv. Laurice has been performing in theatre, music concerts, and stage shows since the age of 10. She originally began writing scripts and composing music through her own vocal group in high school. She continued to pursue her passion for the performing arts in college through studies in theatrical production, acting, music and opera. She has worked in casting, directing, and writing with professional companies based out of NYC, MD and DC. Laurice has written and performed in dozens of sketch comedy digital shorts for LMAONYC. Other credits include the Indie short mockumentary: P.O.O.P: The Movie, Writer/Director of The Top 8 at Eight (original web series), Fox & Friends. Musicals/Operas: Amahl and the Night Visitors (Riverside Opera NYC), 27 Santa’s & and Elf Called Kevin , Alice in Wonderland – A New Musical,The Phantom Tollbooth – By Sheldon Harnick, The Lounge @ Under St. Marks. Liz Lord
Liz Lord has been a cast member of Eight is Never Enough presents Improv for Kids and LMAO since April of 2012. After receiving her theater degree from Earlham College, Liz came to the city to act, direct, and teach. Favorite roles include Ophelia in Hamlet, Liz in Chicago, and She in The Loveliest Afternoon of the Year. She loves performing in new work as well, and has been on stage for many of New York Cities various theater festivals. Liz has directed adults and children, and is the co-artistic director of the newly formed Three Bridges Theater. Teaching has always been one of Liz’s favorite endeavors. She has worked with Americorps to bring arts education to low income families, taught literacy through acting with the Central Park Historical Society, and acted as an assistant director for the Sports and Arts in Schools Foundation. Her favorite teaching position, however, has been teaching stand-up and Improv to kids with New York Improv Theater.
Steven Prestia
Steven Prestia is a recent graduate from LIU Post with a BFA in Arts Management and an MBA. Steven hopes to use his arts management education to further his own comedy career. Steven has been working with 8 is Never Enough Improv since 2012. He started as a student, then became an Intern and worked his way up to Teacher/ Cast member in 2016. Steven has worked with various improv troupes on Long Island to include Friday Night Face Off and No Control. Steven is also a stand-up comedian and has performed at various venues across Long Island and New York City. Some of his credits include Caroline’s on Broadway, Governor’s, McGuire’s, Gotham Comedy Club, and the Broadway Comedy Clubs.
Elise Raemakers
Elise is a native of Des Moines, Iowa and is an Actor, Improviser, & Teacher based in Astoria, Queens.Soon, Elise will be displaying her character skills in the musical play “True Confessions of a Straight Man” at the Lorrie Beechman Theatre this upcoming June, 9th, 24th, and 30th. Her more recent Off-Broadway musical credits include starring as Louise DuSaunt in Beauty & the Beast at The Players Theatre, Old Woman/Sister 1 in Dracula: Lord of the Dark at the Vino Theatre, & she also starred in the devised work “Unchilding” at the DiMenna Center for Classical Music. Elise is a Professional Improviser and is a resident Actor/Company member of Theatre Nerds Murder Mysteries (theatrenerds.com) and Accomplice NYC (accomplicetheshow.com). Kourtni Beebe
She was born and raised in Norman, Oklahoma. After receiving her BFA in Acting from Oklahoma City University, she moved straight to NYC. She’s studied improv and sketch writing at UCB and The PIT and now also appears regularly at the Magnet. She loves doing improv with her indie team, See Harold Run. She also has a fun sketch series called, “Friends After Fat Camp,” on YouTube that she’s currently working on. Go check it out! Kourtni’s also on another sketch team at The PIT with her BoogieManja team, 17:38, that performs monthly at The PIT Loft. Kourtni’s worked on different productions around the city with Above Average, Comedy Central, NBC, and more.
