Improv 4 Kids is the educational outreach division of Eight Is Never Enough Improv Comedy in New York City. The professional troupe hosts weekly shows, classes and educational field trips in Times Square and tours nationwide to schools, camps, community centers and family events.

When not touring schools and theaters, Improv 4 Kids plays in Times Square every Saturday 3pm and hosts public classes for kids and teens Saturday Mornings. Check out Improv 4 Teens too!

Improv 4 Kids on iRead2Know features both clips from our professional company performing live, funny original comedy sketches and our young students performing Improv and Stand-up. The imagination of a child creates amazing original stories and inspires our professional company to deliver their best every time.

Look for Improv 4 Kids on Netflix in 2017 on Julie’s Greenroom. A production team recently filmed the kids, teens and teachers of Improv 4 Kids New York classes for an upcoming episode about Improvisation starring Julie Andrews and featuring guest, Ellie Kemper.

Improv 4 Kids was created by Walt Frasier and Laurice Fattal when a Connecticut school district requested shows for their after school program back in 2003. Soon after the many public shows begin turning to a family friendly nature to help fill a void for quality family entertainment in Times Square. Since then the troupe has delivered more than 6000 shows for K-12 and family audiences. While tons of fun, Improv comedy is used to teach creative writing, critical thinking, community and team skills, respect, focus, public speaking, listening, eye contact and self confidence. Combining shows, workshops, residencies and professional development for teachers, “YES! And…” can become the solution to many issues facing schools and young people today.
