Join us August 27, 2016 for the latest installment of THE TRUTH IN COMEDY IS OUT THERE. We have lots of stuff to discuss following Chicago Wizard World Comic Con and a year of amazing events for Philes and Duchovniacs.

5-7pm Karaoke at Duets 53

Join us for a private room where we sing and share stories from the Comic Cons, Concerts, Book Signings and more. The cost is just $10pp cash. There are no additional purchases required, however Duet 53 has very reasonable drinks. FYI NO outside drinks permitted, including water. Not to worry, the sodas and water at happy hour are only $1. They have $4 drink specials. The more you drink the better you sing, or at least the better you sound to those drinking… This place is cheaper than local dives spots in Times Square. Hosted by Comic/Actor/Duchovniac/Phile, Walt Frasier and Laurice Fattal, the hilarious interactive comedy show is created on the spot based on your suggestions and participation. But you can imagine with a  room full of Philes, Duchovniacs and Anderstans (and a few Mitch’s Bitches) that this show will be so much more than the usual  comedy scenes about Donald Trump, Arod, #Lochtegate, etc  COME BE A PART OF THE SHOW!!!

PS It is someone’s birthday, so there will be cake involved at some point!!!

Comic/Actor, Walt Frasier, created www.duchovniacs.com after David Duchovny’s May 12, 2016 concert. The name was coined by on of the 12 hanging out that night. Two days later – in recognition that the events for much more about being a fan of Mr. Duchovny, The X-Files or all the other projects – the website was born to help bring together fans. The group is open to all. The website now has over 40,000 registered users. The site promotes upcoming events by David Duchovny and the extended X-Files Family, reports on past events with videos, photos and blogs and produces original content including X-Files Podcasts. In Pittsburgh last September, David Duchovny himself commented on Walt Frasier’s review of the album and invited Walt to sing with the Band at the DC concert last October.
