Every week includes 60 minutes of Improv Comedy including warm-up, technique and performance games. The final 30-45 minutes is an open mic type session where students develop stories from their own experiences and observations into original stand-up comedy material. We have classes every week 9/9-11/18.

SHOW, WORKSHOPS, RESIDENCIES, PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT

This has been our busiest summer ever. In addition to a very successful summer camp, we are hosting camps at our times square theater almost daily (sometimes 2-4/day) and traveling DC to Boston to camps, libraries and other community centers.

• FIELD TRIPS – bring your student group to our public shows or we will create a show for you if your group is large enough. We have two theaters and can handle up to 240ppl in one sitting (175 and 65). Each summer we run two shows back to back for the 300 students from Harlem Y. For smaller and medium sized groups (20-100) we can offer a workshop option. While most groups brown bag it, we do have a pizza party option. Prices range $10-25pp depending on your group size and options preferred.
• TOURING COMPANY – we present a 45-60 minute show with 4 professional players. We can turn any space into a comedy room. While designed for a comedy club of 50-200 seats, this show has played college and public shows at Broadway style/size (500-2000 seats) theaters, private shows in living rooms and everything in between. We have a small PA or can use the one designed for your space (preferred).
