Student Group 2018/2019 Rates – The cast of EIGHT IS NEVER ENOUGH (AKA Improv 4 Teens, Improv 4 Kids) hosts about 300 K-12 student groups/year from schools, camps, scout groups and community centers. Currently at the Broadway Comedy Club, 318 West 53rd Street, New York, NY 10019, our public shows run $25 plus a 1 drink minimum (2 drink minimum for evening shows). Student groups from schools and other not for profit organizations pay $7.50-15 for a show. For as little as $25pp we offer a show, workshop and lunch (pizza & beverage). No additional fees or purchases required for non-profit groups.

While we have often given discounts to schools, we have actually reduced our listed rate for touring company from $800 to 700 for NYC area schools. We still charge $800 for schools DC to Boston beyond the surrounding states.

FIELD TRIPS Enacted in the past year, $12.50/students reflects a slight price increase for smaller groups. We charged a same rate of $10/student since 2004. While we resisted changing that rate, rising costs over the years has demanded this change, but we will continue to keep the prices as low as possible once we hit our minimums to operate a program. We want to be able to provide the same service to all groups. However, if you have a tight budget we have options to accommodate that will only minimize changes to your experience – shows with smaller cast, adding to a another small group to get lower rates etc EMAIL US your situation and we will do our best to accommodate.

MORE ABOUT OUR SHOWS – The cast of EIGHT IS NEVER ENOUGH delvers hilarious interactive musical comedy improvised based on audience suggestions and participation. Our MC introduces the audience to Improv and what to expect in our show. The cast then presents a series of songs and skits. Many games require students and teachers/staff to join us on stage to help more directly steer the comedy.  No two shows are ever the same.

MORE ABOUT OUR WORKSHOPS – Improv is a powerful tool. Beyond the obvious cultural arts benefits (Music and Theater), we teach public speaking, story telling, self confidence, and more. The show/workshop combo works well with any cultural arts, language arts or character building program.

PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT – Improv for teachers and staff works on two levels. We teach the teachers how to use the Improv in their classroom. We also do corporate style team building to strengthen your staff dynamic.
