September Times Square Cast

Ryan Hudzik

Ryan Hudzik, Member since 2018, would like to believe you are laughing WITH him, not AT him. Ryan is an actors, singer, dancer, writer, noodle hailing from upstate NY. He is also a recent graduate of NYU Tisch (Experimental Theatre Wing/New Studio on Broadway). Besides working his first ever improv job with Eight is Never Enough, Ryan loves bringing new works to life (so you won’t know any of his recent credits until they hit that good good Broadway transfer). Right before the quarantine life started, Ryan was cast in a new Off Broadway run of Naked Boys Singing. Critics have called him a “vocal powerhouse,” a “laugh riot,” and a “person.” Armed with a fast paced walk, and his home-made cold brew, he’s ready to take the world by storm!

Nick Nieves

Nicholas Nieves is a storyteller that blends his unique style of writing with comedic acting to entertain the masses. You can see Nicholas bring humor every week at The Magnet Theater (Musical Megawatt) and The Broadway Comedy Club (8Improv). Originally from Western New York, Nicholas studied Theatre Arts at SUNY Fredonia before making his way to New York City to pursue his career and bring his style of expression to the industry. He worked hard to cultivate his skills while attending classes at the Magnet Theatre under the tutelage of Michael Lutton, Annie Moor, and Frank Spitznagel. Nicholas has experience in video production/editing. He spends his days writing, honing his craft, and making lasting connections in the industry to bring original stories and fresh content to life. He is an experienced Dungeon Master, using the world of dungeons and dragons to expand his creativity, and is currently using those skills helping to create the new DnD podcast, Bad Guys & B-Sides. He also is one half of the comedy duo that brings the podcast Now Try This every week. When not performing you can ask Nicholas about the chess lessons he is teaching all over the city, or how he hosts events at Unarthodox. He credits the film Fiddler on the Roof for igniting his passion for acting.

Andrea Hernandez Mieres

Member since 2019, is a Mexican & Spanish singer, actress and dancer. Originally from Mexico City where she debuted professionally on the Musical Theater scene in the Mexican Broadway versions of The Fiddler on the Roof and The Scarlet Pimpernel. Recent AMDA NY graduate, Andrea is venturing on the New York City scene.

Ilan Kaplan

Ilan Kaplan is an actor and improviser of Argentine descent based in NYC. He has an MFA in acting from the Actors Studio Drama School at Pace University and has been training and performing at NYC’s biggest improv main stages (UCB, The Magnet, Asylum NYC, Broadway Comedy Club) since 2017. He currently appears in a long running musical improv show on a house team at the Magnet Theater, in addition to being a main cast member and host of Eight is Never Enough (New York Improv Theater). Ilan was a 2021 recipient of the NYFA City Artists Corps Grant, and will appear in a PBS docu-series coming soon to TVs near you!
