2/20 Monday 12pm Improv 4 Kids Times Square NYC Fun interactive comedy for the whole family!

We’ve added a show, special for President’s Day, and NYC DOE Winter Break. So if you have the kids home tomorrow, bring them to our theater for a fun interactive musical comedy show improvised based on audience suggestions and participation. No two shows are ever the same. Many games invite audience on stage to help steer the comedy ship while every original skit and song is create on the spot inspired by YOUR ideas, fave songs, TV shows, films, books, sports etc.

Every day this week we have groups from area vacation camps. Most weeks k12 school groups from around the world stop by for a show and/or workshop.

We send shows, workshops, residencies and professional development programs nationwide to schools, camps, community centers and family events. Whether simply to deliver amazing cultural arts, or to boost SEL, literacy, anti bully or other awareness, Improv Comedy Shows by New York Improv Theater (aka the Original Improv 4 Kids, Improv 4 Teens, EIGHT IS NEVER ENOUGH) is the perfect edutainment.

More than just laughs!

Our mission is to spread joy and laughter one laugh, story, show, and/or class at a time. But Improvisation offers so much more. Simply playing improv comedy games builds creativity, critical thinking, public speaking, listening, focus, self confidence, self awareness, and more. We use improv to train corporate groups team building, leadership, sales and service skills. In k12 schools we partner with Cultural arts, language arts, character building, SEL, Social Emotional Learning, PARP, literacy, anti bully and more.
