For corporate teams, we use improv to teach team building, leadership, sales and service. At any given time teachers are all of the above, from working together in department meetings (team building), to managing your classrooms (leadership), to convincing a student to do their work beyond “THEY HAVE TO” and good grades (sales), to interacting with students, teachers and administration (customer service).
For k12 students Improv is cultural arts, Language arts, and character building (SEL, Social Emotional Learning, ant bully, community, leadership, etc). We teach teach teachers to use improv in their classroom to develop community, promote joy and hope, reduce stress, and increase focus.
