We have been hosting k12 Schools at our Times Square NYC Theater since 2003. Improv Comedy is a powerful tool to both introduce cultutal arts (Theater and Music) as well as teach valuable life skills. Improvisation IS Social Emotional Learning. Our shows demonstrate community and leadership. Add a workshop, as simply playing these games develops creativity, critical thinking, public speaking, self confidence, self awareness and more. - WEEKLY SHOW Saturdays 3pm: Every week our signature show, EIGHT IS NEVER ENOUGH delivers hilarious interactive musical comedy improvised based on audience suggestions and participation. This performance is always family friendly and a popular destination for student groups, birthday party’s and more.
- PRIVATE SHOWS/FIELD TRIPS: We host k12 students almost daily for field trips.
- PIZZA PARTY: One of our most popular packages, we import fresh pies from our local faves.
- CLASSES & WORKSHOPS: we host kids and teens weekly Saturdays 10am for our on going comedy classes and all.summer long for our comedy camps. We also host student groups from around the world almost daily for private workshops. Improv Comedy is a ton of fun, a must for any actor but also powerful edutainment for all. Artistic Director, Walt Frasier has 25+ years of professional credits in comedy, Theater and music. He got his big break in TV performing comedy sketches on MTV’s Stankervision, Late Nite with David Letterman, TruTV’s Friends of the People, and most recently on HBO’s Pause with Sam Jay. As an actor, Frasier has appeared on NBC’s Blacklist, CBS’s Blue Bloods, USA’s Royal Pains (Filmed in Puerto Rico), Netflix’s Lilyhammer (filmed in Norway) and NICK’s Naked Brothers Band. In addition to 1000s of live performances around the world, Frasier has also appeared in numerous commercials, industrials, webisodes and reality TV shows. Arthur Avenue regulars may also recognize Walter, if you add a white beard and red suit, as he has been official Little Italy Santa for the past 15 years.
