HAVE YOUR NEXT CORPORATE / PRIVATE EVENT at NEW YORK IMPROV THEATER!!!

We offer amazing interactive entertainment, team building workshops and a wide variety of menus for all budgets and tastes.

Have you read the latest findings from Google regarding TEAMS? Their big idea coming out of the study is “Psychological Safety”. Making sure the weakest link (perceived) in your team feels comfortable sharing ideas. Saturday Night Live’s Lorne Michaels will stop a meeting if someone seems unfocused or distracted and find out “What’s Up?” morganstanleycaption

Team Building with Improv Comedy has been trying to create “Psychological Safety” for years by promoting “YES! AND…” in the board room, conference table and any office setting. By adopting YES AND in your office you promote “Psychological Safety”. Using Improv Games in your meetings gets the whole team laughing. Let us show you how!

We have worked with teams from JP Morgan, Morgan Stanley, AMEX, GM, Louis Vuitton, Twitter, Kraft, Master Card and 100s of smaller firms.

WHY IMPROV COMEDY?

Improv teaches public speaking, story telling, critical thinking and so much more… But perhaps the mosrt important role of our programs is the laughter…

What can laughter do?

Here are just some benefits for mental, physical and social health…

  • Lower blood pressure
  • Increase vascular blood flow and oxygenation of the blood
  • Give a workout to the diaphragm and abdominal, respiratory, facial, leg, and back muscles
  • Reduce certain stress hormones such as cortisol and adrenaline
  • Increase the response of tumor- and disease-killing cells such as Gamma-interferon and T-cells
  • Defend against respiratory infections–reducing the frequency of colds–by immunoglobulon in saliva.
  • Increase memory and learning; in a study at Johns Hopkins University Medical School, humor during instruction led to increased test scores****
  • Improve alertness, creativity, and memory
