Class creates collective stories to warm up team and individually

We have been having a ball all summer long! In fact our #1 rule is HAVE FUN (but never at another’s expense). We create a safe environment for ALL to share. While these sessions are invaluable for professionals, we have been attracting folks just looking to have fun and interact with other adults. A fun safe space to laugh is so important in these crazy times.

Each teacher brings a unique take to comedy.

Wednesdays are perhaps the most technique intensive. Sam takes us through a series of workshop exercises that develop Yes And, listening and other creative / critical thinking skills. His training at most of the NYC schools is invaluable in dissecting the inner workings of the craft.

Mondays are more game play with Evan. Imagine popping into an episode of WHOSE LINE IS IT ANYWAY. After a brief warm up to bring class together we just play games. Evan has been with NYIT / EIGHT IS NEVER ENOUGH since 2009. When not doing Improv he can be found touring around the world and quite often a regular at the top theaters on Long Island.

Sundays with Victoria and Tuesdays with Liz are run like Open Mic sessions at a comedy club with a little more feedback and guidance. Share personal stories of observation. We help convert those to original comedy routines.

Victoria is a comic and Stand-up Comedy producer in New York City. She has booked the top headliners and many up and coming talents. Get pointers from the front line, in the trenches comedy scene.

Liz Lord bring a unique take to the team. While you don’t need to be a certified teacher to work in the arts, Liz holds a teaching degree and is a fave with many of our students loving her more traditional educational style many find comforting.

Walt Frasier is the artistic director and substitute teacher for all of the above.

When not performing live Improv and Stand up comedy, Walter can be found teaching classes, including his popular comedy camp for kids and teens.

TV credits include Billions (CBS),  Friends of the People (TruTV), Blue Bloods (CBS) Royal Pains (USA), Lilyhammer (NETFLIX),Naked Brothers Band (NICK), Fat Pants (Dr. Oz Promo), Late Night with David Letterman (9 eps), Hair Trauma (2 eps, WE).
