SINCE 2008 I have been working on a book. I released various versions via blog posts on our websites. In 2020 I published my first book IMPROV ON ZOOM to fit a very specific need for our company at the time, codifying what we do during pandemic times to deliver the laughs in shows and classes for my colleagues and students.
THIS will be my 9th Title released since then. To call myself a published author in many ways is like so many on Instagram calling themselves influencers. THIS is the book that is the culmination of my years performing and teaching improv. I take being silly very serious. I have seen amazing things happen. Just this past weekend a couple adult students made me blush discussing my methods. I am incredibly human, therefore, incredibly flawed. However the things I try to teach, and hopefully most of the time, lead by example, lead to create laughter and joy for others, thereby surrounding myself with laughter and joy. I admit it is purely selfish on my part, BUT if others benefit along the way, I can live with those side effects. 😊
